Fiber Connection

  • An extremely high-speed, cost-effective connection between facilities
  • Can be used for high-speed Internet, data, video, and voice

Fiber between Facilities
If your organization has multiple facilities that are located relatively close together geographically (generally up to one mile apart), instead of relying on traditional circuits, BestWeb can install a fiber link between the facilities.

The fiber can be used for:

  • High-speed Internet
  • Data
  • Voice
  • Video

High-speed
Typically, the connection will consist of twelve strands of fiber, resulting in six fiber circuits. Each fiber circuit is thousands of times faster than a T1.

Cost-effective
A fiber connection can be cost-effective when large amounts of bandwidth are required and the facilities to be connected are relatively close together (generally distances up to one mile can be cost-effective). BestWeb can determine the cost-effectiveness of fiber versus other circuits, such as a T3, for your organization’s application.
